Leah Blank
Curriculum Vitae
Since winter term 2020/21, Leah Blank is enrolled in the master’s programme Urban Culture, Society and Space (M.A.) at the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE).
Previously she studied Cultural Education (B.A.) at the Niederrhein University of Applied Science in Mönchengladbach, where she discovered her interest in culture in an urban development context. Above all, public space as a place of intervention within the city, as well as the conversion and temporary use of wasteland and vacant buildings, shaped her desire to use new approaches to make cities liveable and sustainable.
She is currently involved in the event planning for the Urban Innovation Center. Beyond that, she is active in cultural associations, through which she has organised different art and cultural festivals for several years.
