The Duisburg-Essen University has acquired a campus licence for the Citavi
bibliographic management software. Students and members of the Duisburg-Essen
University can use Citavi for their studies, teaching and research at work and
at home at no charge.

You are welcome to apply for one of our Citavi workshops for beginners or advanced workshops for Citavi users.

Please note: Citavi Team version is now available permanently.

How to get the full version of Citavi:

2. Requesting the validation code

Here you get the form to order your validation key: http://www.citavi.com/uni-due.

Please note: To identify yourself, you have to use your e-mail-address of the Duisburg-Essen University. It is impossible to place an order with an e-mail-address of a freemail provider (web.de, gmx, gmail etc.).

3. Entering the login details to Citavi

Start Citavi and enter the validation code from the e-mail that you received from the software producer usually within 24 hours after your request. The mail contains the course of action.

With the validation code you turn the free version into the pro-version for the duration of the campus’ hiring contract, and you are entitled to use Citavi on two computers (at home and at  work) or on an usb flashdrive.
