Trained as a ecotoxicologist, I am now working on understanding effects of multiple stressors in freshwaters through the individual tolerance of organisms. I am especially focused on the interactions between thermal and chemical effects on organisms in the context of global anthropogenic change. Other interests of mine include bioenergetic modelling, systematic review and synthesis research, data management, and topics that interface between ecology, chemistry, biology, and health.
