We study how ecosystems respond to anthropogenic stressors, especially toxicants. Our research aims to predict how toxic chemicals affect ecological communities and associated ecosystem processes. To this end, we conduct field studies in ecosystems such as rivers, run laboratory experiments and develop simulation models.
