My research interests

I am interested in investigating anthropogenic chemicals using in silico approaches, particularly in aquatic systems. To achieve this, I aim to use data from different disciplines (environmental chemistry, landscape ecology, ecology, ecotoxicology) to identify potential risks to humans, animals, plants and the environment.

Methodically, I plan to assess large-scale impacts of the global chemical crisis within the One Health framework using Big Data and novel methods of data analysis. I intend to use free and open-source softwares such as R/QGIS and the multitude of packages/plugins that come with them. With my PhD research, I aspire to contribute to open science by publishing results and tools in open-access and open-source communities.
