Welcome in the labcourse physical chemistry in the master couse.

With labcourse we mean work in the lab. We use our brain and hands at the same time with the lab coat on our body.

• Praciticality in the lab 
• We will also repeat for example  volume measurements 
• pipettors , dropper 
• the Eppendorfs. How to pipette,  correctly ?

The following three main branches will be the principal part of our lab course:

• Electrochemistry
• Spectroscopy
• Nanochemistry

Our lab experiments demand a professional handling of a large amount of data:

• You do not need to be  a data specialist right now.
• But you will learn a lot of this business when choosing our lab course

Before the lab experiments we will have 3 to 4 lectures as ZOOM meetings . You wil get familar with:

• electronic recording of chemical data- the USB oscilloscope - raw data as comma separated value files (CSV)
• the difference between measurements and experiment, handling data in a folder structure, the electronic lab book
• write a lab report as mark down text 
• the tool boxes Visual Studio Code  or as an alternative VS Codium 
• the scientific data analysis tool Igor Pro.
