The Surface Chemistry and Laser Processing group investigates laser-matter interactions and advanced powder feedstock for additive manufacturing. Our work combines pulsed laser synthesis of chemistry of materials, and in-situ optical diagnostics to understand and control microstructure formation during laser-based manufacturing.
