► Short CV
After completing my MA in Japanese Studies in Hungary at Károli University, with a focus on social and cultural anthropology, I deepened my language skills with a translation diploma in German, Japanese, and Chinese at the University of Bonn. My experiences include various stays in Japan and activities as a translator, as well as work on my doctoral project. In 2018 I earned my doctorate from the Institute of Oriental and Asian Studies at the University of Bonn. The focus was on the changing values and cultural transfer of the Japanese "Way of the Bow" (Kyūdō) in the context of social and political changes in Japan.
Since 2014, I have been responsible for coordinating and further developing scientific information resources in the field of East Asia at the IN-EAST. In addition to expanding and maintaining print and online literature and databases, I am responsible for creating subject-specific training courses and individual consultation of institute members.
