The Institute for Engineering Mathematics is part of the Department of Civil Engineering at UDE. Its research focuses on basic and applied topics in the context of computational micromechanics and mechanics of materials.

Since 1. September 2023 Prof. Dr. Matti Schneider is the Professor of Engineering Mathematics in the Department of Civil Engineering.
