In the wake of the brutal crackdown on protestors in Iran and the accompanying internet blackout, we are currently receiving an increasing number of inquiries and messages from international students who are unable to pursue their studies as usual and whose lives are being severely affected by the current situation.

Since it can be difficult to navigate the abundance of information available in times of extreme emotional distress, UDE's international office has created a website where you can easily find some of the most important information and services in difficult times.

Information for Syrian refugees

The political landscape in Syria has changed dramatically in recent weeks. At the present time, it is entirely unclear what the Syrian state will look like in the future. The same applies to what this might mean for the many people who have found refuge in Germany over the past years.

In order to alleviate some of these uncertainties and inform you about how this does or does not impact your legal status in Germany, the organization PRO ASYL, which advocates for the rights and interests of refugees, has put together some information and guidance.
