The sCO2-HeRo Consortium comprises 6 partners who bring together unique and complementary skills and expertise in the areas of turbo-machinery and nuclear energy. The Consortium comprises of experts in reactor physics and safety and education and simulator training for nuclear power plants as well as turbomachine and nuclear science researchers from renowned research institutions and companies.

Partnering project sCO2-Flex

The sCO2-HeRo consortium maintain a strong cooperation with the sCO2 related EU-project sCO2-Flex which aims to adapt fossil-fuel power plants to operational flexibility and stability of the grid. Namely, sCO2-Flex will develop and validate a scalable, modular design of a 25MWe Brayton cycle using supercritical CO2.

The European Alliance between sCO2-HeRo and sCO2-Flex aims at fostering dialogue and knowledge sharing in the field of sCO2 research and applications and invites stakeholders of various sectors to improve the innovative and competitive capacity of sCO2 research at EU level.
