The workgroup studies nonlinear (stochastic) partial differential equations. The application-oriented focus is on problems in fluid mechanics, in particular compressible fluids, stochastic Navier-Stokes equations, and fluid-structure interaction. On the theoretical side, we are interested in: regularity theory, calculus of variations, and function spaces. Finally, we perform numerical analysis for problems related to these topics.
