The 857th WE-Heraeus-Seminar Advanced Imaging of Ferroic Materials took place from May 31 to June 4, 2026, at the Physics Center in Bad Honnef. The seminar was organized by Prof. Dr. Dennis Meier (UDE) and Prof. Dr. Manfred Fiebig (ETH Zürich), and brought together researchers working on ferroic materials, advanced imaging techniques, and theoretical modelling. The programme featured invited lectures, poster presentations, and extensive discussions on a wide range of topics across the field of ferroics. The seminar provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas, highlighting recent advances, and strengthening connections within the international ferroics community.

Jointly organized by Karin Everschor-Sitte, Atreya Majumdar, and Dennis Meier from the University of Duisburg-Essen, the symposium explored emerging material-driven approaches for future computing.
