The first Sino-German Workshop on Intelligent and Reliable Machines, Processes, and Systems will be held from October 4-6, 2011 at University of Duisburg-Essen, Campus Duisburg. The workshop takes place at the Engineering Faculty and brings together experts from Tshinghua University, Peking University, and Beihang University (BUAA) with experts from the Engineering Faculty.

The workshop is initially organized by Prof. Söffker (ME) and Prof. Ding (EE) and additionally locally organized with the assistance of Prof. Schnellenbach-Held (CE) and Prof. Czylwik (EE). Overall 18 experts are discussing new and upcoming challanges and topics within their research field.
