CALL FOR PAPERS | REGISTRATION FORM | PRELIMINARY PROGRAMME |
Introduction
The 23rd Numerical Towing Tank Symposium is organised by the University of Duisburg-Essen, Institute of Ship Technology, Ocean Engineering and Transport Systems. This conference focuses on the numerical simulation of flows around ships and offshore structures, with a strong link to realistic applications.
The objective of the event is to provide a forum for informal discussions among experts in the field and to disseminate latest results. Younger engineers and Ph.D. students are especially encouraged to participate.
Topics
- Nonlinear flows around marine structures (LES, RANSE, Euler with or/w/o free surface)
- Multiphase flows in the maritime context
- Fluid-Structure Interaction
The conference proceedings will be made available on our website after the conference: https://www.uni-due.de/ISMT/ismt_nutts8
