ITSS-TSaT 2026 - International Traveling Summer School on Terahertz Science and Technology

The International Traveling Summer School on Terahertz Sciences and Technology (ITSS-TSaT) 2026 took place from July 12 to 17, 2026, at Duisburg-Essen University (Germany), in collaboration with TU/e TeraIBs Academy.

Following a tradition dating back to 1990, the summer school brought together students, researchers, and industry professionals from around the world to explore the latest advancements in terahertz science and technology. After editions in Warsaw (2022), Eindhoven (2023), Vilnius (2024), and Vienna (2025), the 2026 event offered a dynamic mix of lectures, hands-on lab visits, group challenges, and networking activities in a vibrant international setting.

We extend our sincere thanks to all participants, speakers, and partners for making this year’s summer school a great success. The connections made and knowledge shared will continue to inspire innovation in terahertz research and applications.
