Max Planck scientists honoured with Biomedicine Award

CRC 1430 member Malte Gersch, together with two colleagues from the Max Planck Institute, has received this year’s Dortmund Biomedicine Prize for uncovering a novel ribosome maturation mechanism involving two deubiquitinating enzymes acting sequentially on FUBI, a protein crucial for ribosome function and immune modulation.
