Joel Guttke - Workshop on retellings of Shakespeare at the annual conference of the Deutsche Shakespeare-Gesellschaft

Joel Guttke was invited to present a workshop, “Shakespeare’s New Contemporaries: Sparking EFL learners’ interest in Shakespeare’s plays through retellings”, at this year’s conference of the Deutsche Shakespeare-Gesellschaft. The workshop offered participants a dynamic exploration of contemporary retellings of Shakespeare’s timeless classics. Attendees delved into a diverse range of retellings, from engaging podcasts and vibrant musicals to visually compelling graphic novels.
