Invitation to the European Premiere of "Seeds of Science" & Panel Discussion

“Seeds of Science” takes the audience on a journey to remote regions where access to knowledge — and even to basic necessities such as clean drinking water — remains a privilege rather than a given. Shot in Cameroon, the film offers a glimpse into the daily lives of many young girls passionate about science, yet often expected from their teenage years onward to enter early marriage. It highlights the impact of committed and inspiring women who are working to change these realities and improve opportunities for the next generation. The film was co-produced by Stéphane Kenmoe (Condensed Matter Chemistry and Physics, UDE) and the screenplay was co-written by Lisa Voskuhl (Microbiology of Ecotones, UDE). Following the screening, we invite you to a panel discussion exploring the themes of the film, including education, gender equality, and access to basic resources — with space for questions and exchange with the audience. | As UDE members, you can receive a free ticket if you register here.
