Save the Date: Herbstakademie 2026 - Skills and Competence for a Successful Doctorate

Is the end of your doctorate drawing near? How does a doctoral defence actually work, and what comes after the dissertation? At our interdisciplinary Herbstakademie, you can prepare for the final phase of your doctorate - and the period that follows - through a series of short workshops and discussions with peers. The Herbstakademie is aimed at advanced doctoral researchers from all subject areas at Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund University and the University of Duisburg-Essen.
