New study with concluding recommendations on gender-transformative effects of development projects

AVE Study 46 provides lessons and recommendations derived from research in development organisations and good-practice-projects for increasing gender-transformative impact in development cooperation. The recommendations touch the fields of land acces and use, value chain promotion, capacity building of donor agencies and the local partners of projects as well as the change of discriminatory social norms, gender roles and stereotypes through innovative approaches.
