First results of the Nacaps study online

How do doctoral researchers finance their doctorate? How satisfied are they with the supervision? Why do they do their doctorate? In spring 2019, more than 20,000 early career researchers took part in the largest nationwide survey of doctoral researchers in Germany to date, Nacaps (National Academics Panel Study). Under nacaps.datenportal.de the first results of the longitudinal study are now available. Using 32 indicators, the data portal provides an overview of the situation of doctoral researchers in Germany. The portal is regularly updated with current data.
