On the topic: Complexity and Transformation Science Perspectives on Sustainable Urban Development"

The 4th KoMet Day will take place on December 01, 2022 on the topic of "Urban Complexity: Complexity and Transformation Science Perspectives on Sustainable Urban Development" at the TU Dortmund University.

The KoMet Day will feature contributions on the topic of the event by the speakers Prof. Dr. Claudia R. Binder, Prof. Dr. Derk Loorbach, Dr. Diego Rybski, Dr. Lasse Gerrits, Prof. Dr. Markus Schläpfer.
The Urban Systems Group (UDE) organizes a half-day workshop (Nov 29 ) for young researchers (PhD students and PostDocs), which also deals with the topic of metropolitan research from the perspective of complexity and the relevance of transdisciplinary science. In this context, young researchers are invited to apply and contribute in the framework of a Call for Presentation Proposals until Oct 31, 2022. The results of this workshop will be presented at KoMet Day and included in the discussions.
This year, the predominantly German-language KoMet Day (Dec 1) as well as the English-language workshop (Nov 29, 2022) will be held as hybrid events.
