CENIDE Nano Summer Program
Participants will stay in single rooms in the “Bildungshotel” in Essen. The rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, desk, refrigerator, pre-paid phone, TV, and free wireless internet access. The “Bildungshotel” offers 24-hour access as well as a free weekly bathroom cleaning service and changing of used linen and towels. Washing machines and dryers are available for private use.
Due to the central location of the “Bildungshotel”, the campus in Essen and the city center of Essen can be reached in a 10-minute walk. Public transportation (tram stop) is right in front of the building and offers good connections to the main train station in Essen. The campus in Duisburg can be reached by a free bus service connecting both campuses in Essen and Duisburg hourly.
Daily meals are not included in the program fee. The “Bildungshotel” offers a daily breakfast for €8.50 per day as well as shared kitchens for those who prefer to prepare their own meals. On the university campus, the participants can purchase inexpensive meals in the student cafeterias.
