Equipment
Synthesis Laboratory
Our fully equipped Synthesis Laboratory is designed for the safe and efficient execution of organic and inorganic chemical reactions. In this facility, novel photosensitizers, hybrid materials, and functional composites are synthesized and optimized to achieve specific optical, electronic, and catalytic properties.
Nanofabrication & Electrospinning Laboratory
The Nanofabrication and Electrospinning Laboratory is dedicated to the fabrication of nanostructured films and fibers using advanced electrospinning techniques. These processes enable the development of functional membranes and hybrid nanostructures for applications in sensing, photocatalytic disinfection, and energy conversion.
Photophysics Laboratory
The fully equipped Photophysics Laboratory features steady-state and time-resolved UV-Vis-NIR absorption and emission spectroscopy for advanced optical characterization of nanomaterials. These capabilities enable detailed investigations of photoluminescence and related processes, providing fundamental insights into photoactive materials, sensors, and energy conversion systems.
Biology Laboratory
Our Biology Laboratory enables antibacterial and antiviral testing of photosensitizers and nanomaterials, supporting studies on bio-nano interactions and phototoxicity. Equipped with safety cabinets, imaging and bioassay facilities, as well as various continuous excitation sources (LEDs), solar simulator lamps, and flow-through systems, it serves as a key platform bridging materials science and life sciences within our research group.
