Scientific (short) expertises on fundamental issues of the welfare state

Short information

The IAQ is part of a consortium that provides the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) with short-term expert reports on a broad spectrum of labour market and social science issues. The consortium is coordinated by the IZA. The aim is to provide conceptual and empirical support for current social debates and political decision-making processes with the expertise of various disciplines. The focus is on questions concerning the sustainable design of the welfare state and the future of work. In accordance with its core competencies, the IAQ delivers policy advice within this framework to provide decision-makers quickly and in an action-oriented manner with scientifically sound information.
