What you shouldn't miss during your semester abroad in Germany:

Take a look at Northern Germany, especially Bremen and the Wattenmeer!!! If you have time, don' hesitate to take a guided tour from Cuxhaven to Neuwerk. On Neuwerk you can spend a night in a hay barn and travel back the next day.

Favourite city in Germany:

Heidelberg, because it is a very beautiful historic city with many interesting sights. The TSC also organised a trip there once.

Favourite place at the UDE:

My favorite place on Duisburg campus is the LK library because it is so quiet and the view from the top floor is very nice.

On Campus Essen it is the terrace in the back yard of the red cafeteria, because it is very relaxing to spend time there.

Favourite place in Essen or Duisburg:

It is the Innenhafen in Duisburg, as there are many nice cafés on the waterfront. This place was also part of our previous TSC-photo challenge

That's where I prefer to meet my friends:

Downtown, because everyone can get there easily. You have a wide range of stores, where you can go and you also see many different people who are shopping in the city

What you shouldn't miss during your semester abroad in Germany:

The cool activities from TSC which the tutors organise for you so you can experience culture and life in Germany. There's something for everyone, whether it is visiting museums, sportive activities, or magnificent trips and excursions.
