The extrusion research team deals with all topics in plastics processing connected to the extrusion process.

Starting with system developments in the field of single-screw extrusion and the cooling of plastic products for the pipe and profile over to blowing lines and the optimization of thermoforming or calender machines, tasks in cooperation with industrial enterprises and public research funding are done by us.

We are partners for process technology and –engineering as well as mechanical engineering and have a fully equipped laboratory with various extrusion systems up to a three-layer film blowing line

Particular focus is set on process and system optimization to increase energy and resource efficiency in plastics processing.

We will advise you on the issue of acquiring public research funds in collaborative projects and are available on application at your disposal.
