IFIP Workshop on "Inverse Problems, Imaging, and Optimization"

Essen, January 6-8, 2020

Scope

The aim is to gather researchers interested in optimization algorithms for imaging and inverse problems, in order to foster increased interaction between these fields. This workshop is a joint activity of the IFIP WG 7.4 Working Group on Inverse Problems and Imaging and the IFIP WG 7.8 Working Group on Nonlinear Optimization.

Registration

Please use the registration form before October 31, 2019.

Fee

€ 350 including room and board for the duration of the workshop (Monday afternoon to Thursday morning). For participants departing on Wednesday evening, a reduced rate of € 280 applies; please mention this during registration. The fee should be paid by bank transfer

Venue

The workshop will be held at the BEW Education Center in the South of Essen. A number of rooms have been reserved for participants.

The closest airport is Düsseldorf Flughafen, from which many regional trains run to Essen Hauptbahnhof. From there, you can take the local train (S-Bahn) 6 to the stop Essen-Werden, followed by the bus line 169 to the stop Essen Kamillushaus. The education center can be reached by a short walk of 300m. Alternatively, a taxi cab will take about ten minutes from Essen-Werden.
