Our anglophone programme provides a comprehensive cross-disciplinary scientific training for PhD and MD students at the interface between radiation biology and oncology, experimental and precision medicine, and computational biology. Training also includes innovative cross-disciplinary training measures on the general topics of the GRK 2762, with the goals of enhancing mutual understanding, appreciating connections between disciplines, and building a shared foundation of knowledge. In addition, the programme covers training in transferable academic skills, such as presentation, scientific writing, bioethics, and scientific integrity, as well as in soft skills and career planning, and provides funding opportunities for visits of workshops, conferences and mobility to international collaboration partners.
