The English Language Movie Society (ELMS) was founded in 2007 and is a group of students and staff that meet during the semester to watch movies in their original language. The lack of English-language cinemas in Essen inspired this club and it has since been well received.
We have also set up a Facebook page ( "English Language Movie Society (ELMS)" ) to help interested students connect to each other and not just be another face in the crowd.
During the semester we meet every other Tuesday at 6 pm in room R11 T00 D05 (new room in front of the university library). Our schedule will be posted regularly throughout the fourth-floor hallways of R12 and here on our website. Admission is completely free and everyone is welcome to come.
