The profile of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen is unique: at no other university in Germany you will find engineering sciences working so closely together. Four departments teach and research under one roof:

• Civil Engineering (BW),
• Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (EIT),
• Computer and Cognitive Sciences (INKO) and
• Mechanical and Process Engineering (MB)

including the units Industrial Engineering (WI) as well as Teaching Profession Technology (LT).
