Welcome Services of the University of Duisburg-Essen!
Welcome Services at University Duisburg-Essen extends warm greetings to all international guest scholars visiting the institutes of higher learning and research institutions in Duisburg-Essen.
The Online Service Point is a useful Internet address for internationally mobile academics. It supports PhD students from abroad, visiting scientists and researchers, postdocs and newly-appointed professors - and as a family friendly University also their families - in the planning, preparation and realisation of their stay in Duisburg-Essen. It also provides information and specifically-targeted assistance in all non-academic, extracurricular fields. The Welcome Services sees itself as the central contact and service point. It offers its own range of services and also coordinates with other service facilities, where necessary.
We will be glad to assist you as you prepare for your stay at the UDE and after you arrive. So that you will be able to benefit from the comprehensive Welcome Services, we ask you to register at the Online Service Point, by completing the Registration Form, before you come to Germany. This will help us offer you and your family the services you want and to invite you to events hosted by the Online Service Point.
