(Home) Training Days: Identity and Integrity as a Researcher

“Who am I? And who do I want to be — as a professional, as a researcher, as a human
being?“ - The decision to do a doctorate often brings about great changes in life. Apart from
content-related and academic challenges, however, questions regarding the purpose of
our research activities, and our identity within academia and beyond often receive only
little attention, or none at all. This workshop offers you a space to reflect on issues of
professional integrity and identity. We explore how we can (re-)connect soul and role,
find purpose and truly ‘make sense’ in our academic workplaces and beyond. For this,
we work with mini inputs, individual reflection, creative writing, circles of trust, powerful
