Researcher at the collaborative research centre RESIST, which explores how environmental stressors affect aquatic ecosystems. Her study focuses specifically on how multiple stressors influence fungal communities. The experiments use microcosms to understand changes in microbial decomposition, community structure, and their impact on ecosystem recovery and higher trophic levels.

With a background in chemistry and ecotoxicology she is also interested on bringing pesticide analysis and environmental management together in order to advance in ecological integrity and public health.
