Michael studied chemistry at RWTH Aachen University and earned his Ph.D. there. After working with Prof. MacLachlan at the University of British Columbia, he has been conducting research as the head of a research group at the UDE since 2014. In addition to his roles as a professor, researcher, and dean of academic affairs, he directs the CCLP.

Andrea handles a wide range of diverse tasks, including hiring, purchasing, finance, and administration. She is the go-to person for any questions or issues and always comes up with solutions.

Adrian studied mechanical engineering with a focus on materials science at the University of Wuppertal. At the CCLP, he works on bringing student startup ideas to life, managing research projects, and handling external contracts. He shares his knowledge through workshops.

Frauke studied mechanical engineering with a specialization in product engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen. She has been enthusiastically working on and with additive manufacturing since 2018. At the CCLP, she ensures that all equipment is in working order and that print jobs run smoothly, and she oversees startup projects and requests for research supplies.

Marvin earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Recklinghausen and subsequently completed a master’s degree in polymer chemistry. Since 2020, he has been working in the field of additive manufacturing—with a particular passion for the development and optimization of new photoresins for the SLA process. At CCLP, Marvin is responsible for the material development of photoresins.
