Current teaching

Forensic psychiatry and sexual research enjoy the greatest interest among students. The subject is based on psychiatric and psychotherapeutic knowledge and experience and expands them in an interdisciplinary way. Law, criminology, behavioural biology, psychology and forensic medicine are particularly relevant. The institute teaches the basics of sexual anamnesis in a seminar and gives lectures on the basics of forensic psychiatry and sexual research.

Internships

We offer the opportunity to complete internships at our institute. Applications are open to students of various subjects (e.g. psychology, medicine, criminology, sociology) in their master's or magister studies. We currently offer internships in the area of "Forensic Psychiatric Opinions" as well as in research.

Master and doctoral thesis opportunities

At our institute, there is the possibility to conduct different qualification theses. You can find an overview of our different research topics under Research. You can carry out work within the framework of these focal points; your own suggestions for topics are also very welcome.

We always welcome applications from enthusiastic colleagues with fresh ideas, exciting questions and a passion for research.
