Wikipedology is the scientific study of the phenomenon of Wikipedia in particular and wikis in general (Wiktionary 2017). Linguistic wikipedology is the branch of wikipedistics that deals with Wikipedia as a subject of study from a linguistic perspective. This wiki is dedicated to describing the field of research outlined above. An important subfield of Wikipedology is Wikipedactics: this is the field of knowledge that provides the didactic and conceptual basis for the reflective use of wikis and, above all, the online encyclopaedia Wikipedia in school and university contexts.
