Directions

By Car

Drive past the teaching and learning center, about 200m further on on the left side of the street is the parking garage P2.

This is a chargeable, freely accessible parking garage. Entry and exit are possible around the clock.

By Public Transportation

From the main train station, take the U17 in the direction of Margarethenhöhe to the university clinic. Please get off at the stop "Holsterhauser Platz".

The tram line 101/106 stops at the main entrance of the University Hospital in Essen. As a ring line, it connects districts such as Borbeck and Altendorf with the main train station and the university clinic. Line 101 runs the ring clockwise and line 106 counterclockwise. This means: one line there and the other back.

The “Klinikum” stop on bus 160/161 is also near the main entrance. The buses also take you to the Borbeck and Stoppenberg districts.

There is also a taxi rank next to the main entrance on Hufelandstraße.

From Düsseldorf International Airport you can take the train (S1, RE1) to Essen main station and from there take the U17 (see above) to the university hospital.
