Dr Xiaoli Guo holds a PhD in International Relations from The Australian National University (ANU). Her research centres on China’s foreign policy and relational diplomacy. She is the author of Unravelling the Puzzle: China-Turkey Relations (Routledge, forthcoming 2026) and has published in journals including the Australian Journal of International Affairs and Asian Review of Political Economy. Xiaoli Guo is currently working on a project examining how relational dynamics shape China’s flexible foreign policy in a multipolar world. She has presented at major academic forums and contributes regularly to outlets such as the Lowy Institute and East Asia Forum.
