Mensa is the name for the university restaurants. The Mensa provides different choices for lunch (open Monday to Friday). Students enjoy reduced prices. For a meal you have to pay from 1.60 € - 3.50 €. The lunch menu of the Mensa can be accessed on the internet via:

There are three Mensas on the Campus Duisburg which you can find in the buildings BA, MM and LA (see campus map above). The Mensas on the Campus Essen are situated nearby T01 and at the Clinic (Virchowstraße 171).

Beyond lunch time you can also go to one of the cafeterias which are attached to each Mensa. The cafeterias offer hot and cold beverages as well as snacks and sweets. You can also buy phone cards, matches, magazines and other everyday items there.

Opening hours Mensa:
Monday to Friday: 11.15 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Opening hours cafeterias:
Monday to Thursday: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
