Location
The conference site is Humbolt University; street: Invalidenstr. No. 42.
It is located directly beside the Naturkunde Museum (Nature Historical Museum).
It is located about 1 km east from the Central Station (Haupbahnhof). In front of the Hauptbahnhof you will find already the Invalidenstrasse.
Transport
From International Airport Berlin Tegel take the bus 128 in direction Osloerstr. Get out the bus at Kurt Schumacherplatz. Change to the underground (U). Take the underground in direction Alt Mariendorf. Get out at the station Naturkundemuseum (old name: Zinnowitzerstrasse) (8 stations).The Ticket costs 2.10 EURO. Go the street southwards; next corner right is the Invalidentrasse.You will see already the huge old buildings Humboldt University and Naturkunde Museum on the right. The conference location is decorated with the conference banner.
From the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) go by foot or use the buses 123 or 147 to Invalidenpark, or bus 245 to Naturkundemuseum (4 minutes drive).
Car Parking: Nearby the conference location are no parking facilities. Please take the bus, underground and S-Bahn (above ground city railway).

Problems will occur with files established with Apple-PCs They should be changed into ppt-files or pdf-files .
Poster Presentations: Poster (size DIN A0, 84 cm broad, 119 high) should be hung up latest Wednesday 12:00 and should stay until Friday 15:00. Posters not removed Friday afternoon after 16:30 will be thrown away.
Inform you about your poster session. Be prepared for a 5 minutes talk and explanation of your poster at the poster sessions.
Lunch remarks: Lunch is not included in the registration fees. Lunch will be available in the University canteen (Mensa) near the conference location. Served are all types of food, also vegetarian food. You need for it a mensa-card, You can get it with a deposit of 20 EURO at the registration of the conference for 20 Euro. The amount of the deposite which was not used during the conference days will be paid back at the cash desk of the university canteen (Mensa).
Conference dinner: The conference dinner will be at the Albrecht Thear Hall at the conference site from 18:00-22:00 on Thursday. The conference dinner is included in the fees. It is only for registered persons.
Please indicate at your registration if you will take part at the Conference Dinner at Thursday evening.
Payment: Those who could not pay before please do this at your arrival at the registration desk. Participation at the conference is only possible after registration and payment.
Excursion: Participation at the conference excursion is only for persons possible who did register and pay conference and excursion fees. Participation at the excursion is only possible as long as places in the bus are available.
Exhibition: The company Eijkelkamp from The Netherlands will show the newest soil and plant research equipment.
