The chair does no longer exist since 1 April 2024.

The working group Software Engineering was led by Prof. Dr. Maritta Heisel and belonged to the Department of Software Engineering at the Faculty of Computer Science.

Furthermore, we were a founding member of PALUNO "The Ruhr Institute for Software Technology".

Our group was located at the campus in Duisburg.
