The video below illustrates this close interweaving of skills with an example that shows the preparations for shifting a patient to prevent bedsores: when entering the room, the nurses first of all must obey the rule of hand disinfection, but at the same time must create an atmosphere of trust and affection so as to reduce the strain a hospital stay places upon the patient.
