UA Ruhr Verbindungsbüros
Die UAMR-Universitäten kooperieren mit Hochschulen und Forschungsinstituten auf der ganzen Welt und sind in zahlreichen Netzwerken aktiv. Um den internationalen Austausch zu fördern, hat die Universitätsallianz Verbindungsbüros im Ausland eingerichtet.
Unter dem Label UA (Consortium of the Ruhr-Area Universities) betreibt die UAMR Büros in New York, Moskau und Rio de Janeiro/São Paulo. Dabei tragen die Verbindungsbüros nachhaltig dazu bei, Forschungskontakte auszubauen. Zudem unterstützen sie im Bereich der Lehre gemeinsame Studien- und Lernprojekte organisatorisch.

International Research Universities Network (IRUN)
Ten excellent research universities united in the IRUN network offer a wide range of modules in the English language and an outstanding academic climate. Student exchange is one of the goals of the network and therefore special arrangements have been made between the partners.
