Course offer at University of Duisburg Essen (Universität Duisburg Essen) contains a consecutive bachelor/master program with three different directions.

We offer a complete curriculum in Essen as well as in Duisburg.In Essen, we also offer teaching degrees for primary and secondary schools.


1. Teaching degrees

At University of Duisburg Essen you cam aquire teaching degree for GHR (primary-, Haupt-, Real-school), teaching degree for secundary school or teaching drgree for professional school.
Notes: You must study two subjekts for secundary school. You can combine mathematics with: physics, chemistry, informatics, biology, german, frensh, spanish, english, history, theology, music, arts, sports and soial sciences.

2. Bachelor- /Master- degree

Studying maths at Univerity of Duisburg Essen.
Short-Information

 

3.1. Maths combined with a practical course

80% of this study course equates to the classical maths study course. The remaining 20% refer to a practical course. ("Profil 80-20").
Some possible practical courses at Campus Duisburg: Practical informatics, business economics, electrical engineering, engineering or physics,
At Campus Essen: informatics, business economics, political economics, modelling and simulation in engineering, physics and chemistry.

 

3.2. business mathematics

60% maths and 40% practical courses, especially economic sciences ("Profil 60-40")

 

3.3. technical mathematics

60% maths and 40% practical courses, especially in a technical course. ("Profil 60-40")
Possible technical courses: practical informatics, business economics, electrical engineering and engineering.
