How to get to the Campus Essen

The Essen Campus of our University is easily reached from anywhere in Europe. Essen is situated centrally in the Rhine/Ruhr region. It is connected to an extensive transport network. From all over Germany and from abroad, Essen is easy to reach from all directions by car, train, and plane. In addition to all major carriers, most budget airlines connect to one of the 4 airports within easy reach to Essen, and German Rail runs high-speed ICE connections from across Germany as well as from neighbouring countries, e.g. the Thalys from Paris & Brussels. Travelling to the region with Eurostar (via Cologne) is also an option.

For further information on public transport, maps and directions to the Essen campus, please visit the main University website, which is available in German and English. For specific information, how to get to the place of event, the Glaspavillion, see below.
