Preface

This website is dedicated to employees, students and guests of the Farle research group only.
We are publishing here important information for work safety in our labs.
The documents must not be used for other purposes. They are property of their respective authors.
Any mention of product names is used solely for clear identification of products.

Safety briefings

Every year participation in our safety briefings must be certified by signature and speaker/s.
Annual participation is mandatory!
Work group members who want to work in our cleanroom must attend a special safety briefing.
The due date for our safety briefings is announced in our seminar schedule.
This talk consists of three parts: Lab, firefighting and cold liquid gases.

Without participating at our safety briefings or without signing the suitable documents working in our labs is strictly prohibited.

Safety briefings (annual participation is mandatory)

Lab

All staff members of AG Farle must participate in this general safety briefing. It takes place during an AG Oberseminar session (next date: see here). Individual appointments are also available (please contact Detlef Spoddig or Sascha Apazeller).

Firefighting

Second part of the general safety briefing, which all employees must attend. It takes place after the lab briefing. You'll need to confirm you've attended both briefings by signing a form.

Cold liquid gases

Anyone who works with cryogenic gases must attend this instruction session. It usually takes place after the laboratory and fire safety briefing during the group seminar and can also be provided at an individual appointment if required. Requests for this should be directed to Philipp Kükenbrink.

Online briefing for IT security

Participation in this additional safety briefing is mandatory for all employees of AG Farle. Scroll down to find the english version. Confirm your participation via mail to Helga Mundt!

Cleanroom

Participation in this additional cleanroom briefing is mandatory if you need to work in the Farle research group cleanroom (ME Hall). Requests for this should be directed to Detlef Spoddig.
