Health and Well-being
Connecting people, practices and knowledge for healthier futures
The Hub for Health and Well-being brings together researchers, educators, students and societal partners to address complex health and well-being challenges that transcend disciplinary, institutional and national boundaries. Rooted in a transdisciplinary approach, the hub fosters collaboration between medicine, social sciences, humanities and other fields to develop innovative research, education and action-oriented solutions. Students are at the heart of our activities, working alongside researchers, practitioners and stakeholders to co-create new programmes, courses and projects grounded in real-world contexts. Through workshops, joint initiatives and community-based engagement, the hub explores key societal issues such as vulnerability, ageing, health inequalities, inclusion and environmental sustainability. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the hub supports education and research that respond to local and global challenges, while strengthening partnerships across Aurora universities and beyond. By building shared knowledge and practices, we aim to contribute to more equitable, inclusive and sustainable forms of health and well-being for diverse communities.
