Leslie Gauditz, Anna-Lisa Klages, Stefanie Kruse, Eva Marr, Ana Mazur, Tamara Schwertel & Olaf Tietje (2023): Die Situationsanalyse als Forschungsprogramm. Theoretische Implikationen, Forschungspraxis und Anwendungsbeispiele. Wiesbaden: Springer VS.

This anthology summarises the various debates surrounding situational analysis following Adele Clarke. In the individual chapters, theoretical, methodological and/or empirical considerations as well as their gaps and further developments are discussed and methodological approaches are concretised. In this way, the publication addresses open questions and further developments of Clarke's theory-method package of situation analysis and thus makes a contribution to the further development of a methodology that offers a variety of impulses, particularly for inter- and transdisciplinary research projects. The anthology is aimed at (junior) researchers who work with situation analysis or would like to discover this approach for their research. The work will appeal to students as well as researchers and practitioners from different disciplines and orientations.

Benedikt Hopmann, Eva Marr, Daniela Molnar, Martina Richter, Nina Thieme & Meike Wittfeld (Eds.) (2023): Soziale Arbeit im schulischen Kontext. Zuständigkeit, Macht und Professionalisierung in multiprofessionellen Kooperationen. Weinheim: Beltz Juventa.

Social work and its relationship with schools has become increasingly important in recent years. In particular, social work as an actor in multi-professional co-operation is moving into focus. The contributions to the anthology examine the subject from theoretical-conceptual and empirical perspectives. Addressing issues of (non-)responsibility, (dis)power and the  (de)professionalisation of social work, this essay collection sheds light on hitherto neglected implications of multi-professional collaborations in schools.
